Where the Puma Lives

The puma can live to almost any living area.

They live in forests, swamps, grass-lands, tropical jungles, desert-like areas, and mountain areas. Some of them even live close to towns or cities. Pumas and leopards are the only two big cats that live in so many different places and areas except for mothers with babies, puma live alone. Mountain lions can be found in western Canada, western United States and Florida, Central America, South America. They live in areas called “home range”, witch vary in size from 30 to 125 square miles. The home range is where each pumas finds shelter to rest or get away from bad weather. These ranges overlap so pumas share some parts of it.
